Energy in Agriculture: Lessons from the Sunshine Farm Project

To explore the reduction of fossil fuel use in its Sunshine Farm Project during 1991-2001, The Land Institute conducted energy accounting of its 85-ha organic farm powered by commercial biodiesel, draft horses, and a photovoltaic array.
